The kind who sleeps under the stars, rinses off in glacial streams, and believes the best kind of clean comes after the dirtiest kind of day.

I built Wayward & Wild for fellow wanderers — for campers, hikers, mushers, river rats, and kitchen witches — anyone who lives close to the land and needs soap that can keep up. This shop is my homage to dirtbag living: resourceful, raw, radically intentional.

Wildcrafted + Handmade

Every bar, cloth, and scrub bag is made by hand right here in Southern Michigan — crafted with the same rugged care we’d use on a month-long trip through the bush. No machines. No fluff. Just human hands, calloused and kind.

No Junk, No Pretenders

You won’t find synthetics, micas, or lab-born copycats here. Just real ingredients with names you can say out loud around a campfire. If it didn’t grow, steep, or stir without a white coat, it’s not in our stuff.

Intentionally Chosen

We use wild-harvested or responsibly sourced ingredients whenever possible — many are certified organic, others are foraged or grown close to home. Every choice is a nod to the land, not just the label.

Small Batch. Trail-Tested.

This isn’t factory fare. It’s wild work from a small family crew who hikes it, camps it, and lives it. If it’s not good enough for our own, it doesn’t leave the shop.
