Our story begins with a dirt-smeared wild child running on muddy Alaskan river banks picking up cool rocks and stopping to look at plants. With a pack of rejected sled dogs, I found solace and inspiration in rugged Alaskan landscapes and small villages, sparking a love affair with all things natural and handcrafted. Along the way, I’ve discovered the beauty of self-sufficiency, the power of simplicity, and the joy of creating with my hands. From frosty mornings racing sled dogs to summiting mountains in Southeast Alaska with my two shepherds, my journey has evolved. Yet, one thing remained constant - my unwavering commitment to living authentically and embracing being truly wild at heart.
At Wayward & Wild, I dream of building a holistic homestead that fosters connection, creativity, and sustainability. From plastic-free packaging to zero-waste practices, I've committed to reducing my footprint and embracing a lifestyle that prioritizes the planet.
